Rohan Deshmukh - Social Entrepreneur

Rohan Deshmukh

Rohan Subhash Deshmukh is a new-generation social entrepreneur, educationist, and cooperative leader from Solapur, Maharashtra. Born into a family with a rich legacy of public service, he carries forward this tradition with a modern, innovative approach rooted in perseverance and compassion.

As the guiding force behind Lokmangal Foundation, Lokmangal Multi-State Cooperative Society, and Lokmangal Group of Institutes, Rohan has pioneered initiatives that strategically integrate education, entrepreneurship, and social welfare to foster sustainable community development.

His impactful work in rural empowerment, community kitchens, mass marriages, and youth development has positively transformed thousands of lives across Maharashtra.

Lokmangal Foundation

Lokmangal Foundation is a registered charitable trust operating across a broad spectrum of social causes. Our mission is to restore the vitality of rural India by uplifting every segment of rural society and enhancing their quality of life.

From providing quality education to deserving children and organizing community marriages to enabling agricultural water access and supporting dependent elders—our comprehensive approach addresses diverse community needs.

Founded in 2005 by Hon. Mr. Subhash (Bapu) Deshmukh, Ex. Co-operatives, Marketing and Textile Minister of Maharashtra, Lokmangal Foundation was established to provide rural communities with opportunities for dignified growth. Our work spans Solapur and Osmanabad districts, impacting thousands through sustainable development models in education, agriculture, and social welfare.
